• Thurston Chronicle launches as hyperlocal weekly newspaper (chronline.com) — A new weekly Thurston Chronicle print edition is launching that will specifically cover communities like Grand Mound, Rochester, Tenino, Bucoda and the rest of unincorporated Thurston County. Backed by an expanded reporting team and existing online coverage, the paper aims to restore in-depth local news, sports, and government reporting across the county, with copies available by subscription and at locations throughout the area.
