KIRKLAND, WA - Three homes next to each other in a North Kirkland neighborhood burned Sunday night, with two of the homes damaged so badly the residents were left homeless.

The fires broke out around 10 p.m. Sunday along the 10400 block of Northeast 110th Street, which is just east of Juanita Bay Park. Firefighters had the fires under control after about 25 minutes, according to city officials. No one was injured in the fires.

The residents of the two homes most severely damaged by the fires were able to find shelter. Firefighters remained at the scene all night, and the cause of the fires was still under investigation as of Monday morning.
