KIRKLAND, WA - For the second Saturday in a row in Kirkland, a driver took out a utility pole in the city. On Saturday night, a driver mowed down a utility pole along 132nd Avenue Northeast. Last Saturday, a driver took out a pole in the Central Houghton neighborhood, knocking out power to hundreds.
After Saturday's crash, 132nd between Northeast 124th and Northeast 129th streets had to be closed for up to 10 hours, according to Kirkland police.
