Landscape Paintings of Eastern WA and Zion Nat’l Park Now Exhibiting at Carillon Point

Now exhibiting at Carillon Point in Kirkland are glowing landscape paintings by Seattle artist Nadia Hakki. This show includes work inspired by Eastern Washington and the environs of Zion National Park, Utah, where Nadia enjoys hiking and rock climbing. The oil paintings are rendered in the classical style; a monochromatic under-painting with layers of color on top, evoking the luminous light of early morning and late afternoon.

The exhibition runs through March 21, and is open to the public. To view the entire exhibition, stop by during the weekday. Office buildings #3000, #4000 and #5000 are open 6 am to 6 pm weekdays; the paintings are in the elevator lobbies. Additional paintings are in the Post Office, open weekdays 10 am to 5 pm, and Saturday 10 am to noon. Additional work is in the entrance hallway to the Beach Cafe. The exhibition is curated by Gormally Art Services, which curates four exhibitions a year at Carillon Point.
