Armed Robber Hits Bridle Trails Wells Fargo

Kirkland Police are searching for a man armed with a revolver who took cash from a Wells Fargo on Tuesday morning.

KIRKLAND, WA -- Kirkland Police are searching for an armed man suspected of robbing the Wells Fargo on 132nd Avenue Northeast Tuesday morning. Police arrived on scene shortly before 11:30 a.m. Tellers told them a thin Hispanic man in his 20s, about 5'7" or 5'8" tall, showed a revolver and demanded money. Witnesses said the man was wearing a black sweatshirt and a black backpack and had a tan mask over his face.

After he got the cash, witnesses told police the man hopped in a vehicle and drove southbound on 132nd. Police are asking people or businesses who have surveillance cameras facing the shopping center, or anywhere along 132nd to the intersection of 134th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 24th Street, to reach out to detectives. Anyone with video or other information is asked to call them at 425-577-5656. Police do not have stills from the bank available to share at this time.
