Boat Sinks In Downtown Kirkland, Spills Fuel Into Lake
State and local officials were on scene Monday morning trying to contain the fuel spill.

KIRKLAND, WA - A boat sank at Marina Park in downtown Kirkland Monday morning. The boat spilled fuel into Lake Washington, but firefighters were able to contain the spill to the immediate area.
According to King County Sheriff's Office Marine Rescue, the boat owner recently acquired the boat. The state Department of Ecology also responded to the area to help with cleanup.
