KIRKLAND, WA — Kirkland police have identified a woman they call the "botox bandit," who is accused of stealing beauty treatments from multiple spas in the area.

Lauren L. Klavano, 30, is the main suspect in at least three Botox-treatment thefts from spas in Kirkland and Bellevue.

In one case at the Dermavita Skin Care Clinic in Kirkland, owners there have said that Klavano left an empty purse and dead cell phone behind when she dipped out on a $2,000 Botox treatment.

"On July 5th, Klavano had an appointment at DermaVita where she received Botox treatments and then advised staff she had left her wallet in her car. Klavano then left and never returned," Kirkland police said in a statement.

Washington's Most Wanted identified Klavano earlier in July, reporting that she has stolen close to $5,000 in facial treatments since last November. In an incident at the Naficy Plastic Surgery and Rejuvenation Center in Bellevue, Klavano used a fake name and pretended to step outside to take a phone call from her mother — but never returned, WMW reported.
