Boy Grabbed By Man Near Kirkland Elementary School

Kirkland police have made an arrest after the boy provided a good description of the suspect.

KIRKLAND, WA - Kirkland police have arrested a man on a fourth-degree assault charge after the suspect apparently grabbed an 11-year-old boy near a Kirkland elementary school.

The incident happened March 28 around 3:30 p.m. The boy was near Rosehill Elementary School when he noticed a man acting strangely. The man then grabbed the boy "momentarily," according to police. The man then ran off.

The boy was able to provide police with a good description of the suspect, allowing them to track him down near the school.

Rosehill Elementary is located along 128th Ave Northeast east of I-405.
