As I sit at my desk this morning the beloved Blue Angels are flying overhead through the overcast/low ceiling that we often have in the Summer here. I’m delighted they are here, an example of American know-how and their dedication to us, the people.
Although the Torchlight Parade is the official start of SeaFair it’s the wind-tearing sound of the Blue Angels that does it for a lot of folks. Sort of an advent by air. Also means the Hydros are just around the calendar too!
Being on the water here is very different than over at the Stan Sayers Hydro Pit, but I know our little piece of earth on the water is much more comfortable.
