KIRKLAND, WA — City maintenance crews will work through Friday to tidy up the Cross Kirkland Corridor, a 5.75-mile stretch of trail that runs between the South Kirkland Park & Ride and the Totem Lake Business District.

Work began at 7 a.m. Monday and is slated through 2 p.m. daily, through Friday, July 24. The project started in the south end and will move toward Northeast 124th Street as the week continues. Crews will primarily focus on mowing lawns in the area and clearing brush.

According to the city website, the trail itself will remain open to visitors, but some delays are possible.
