Simonds Road Closed Through Rush Hour: Police
A car crashed into a utility pole Tuesday morning, according to police.

KIRKLAND, WA - Drivers should avoid Simonds Road in north Kirkland Tuesday. A car crashed into a utility pole near 100th Avenue Northeast, according to police.
Around 12:15 p.m., Kirkland police said the closure could last up to six more hours as utility crews make repairs.
There was a small power outage near the scene of the crash, according to Puget Sound Energy.
