Cross Kirkland Corridor Closed Through Thursday

Crews will be making preparations for the Totem Lake connector bridge.

KIRKLAND, WA - The Cross Kirkland Corridor will be closed to pedestrians and bicyclists through Thursday this week as crews conduct preliminary work in preparation for the Totem Lake connector bridge. There's a detour in place, which routes users across Northeast 116th Street and up Slater Avenue Northeast.

The corridor will be closed between 12oth and 128th avenues. Crews will be drilling soil along the corridor, which will allow engineers to design the connector bridge.

The city will also host an open house on the connector bridge on Thursday at 6 p.m. Citizens will be able to give input on design for the bridge, which will connect the Cross Kirkland Corridor over Northeast 124th Street and Totem Lake Boulevard.
