Cross Kirkland Corridor Closed Through Tuesday

Engineers will be drilling in the area, and pedestrians and bicyclists are urged to use caution.

KIRKLAND, WA - The Cross Kirkland Corridor will be closed to users on Jan. 9 and 10 while engineers work in the area.

The closure will affect the portion of the corridor in Totem Lake between 24th Avenue Northeast and 132nd Avenue Northeast. Engineers will be drilling for soil samples along this stretch in preparation for Puget Sound Energy's transmission line project.

Bicyclists and pedestrians in the are are urged to be cautious around this stretch of trail and observe all signs.
