Sign up for one of their evening art classes and prepare for a night of unique entertainment. Enjoy a glass of wine or beer, a menu of “perfectly paired” appetizers and a painting class with a full stock of the art supplies you need – all for only $40.
“You don’t need to know how to paint to participate,” said owner Elizabeth Shriner, who opened the business Valentine’s weekend after participating in a similar event in Texas just two months ago. “A lot of people are intimidated by painting, but if you break it down step by step, it’s really easy and fun.”
At the end of the evening, you leave with your own 16x20” masterpiece and the energized focus that comes from feeding your creative side.
Regularly scheduled classes are offered every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., as well as at noon on Sundays, when mimosas are served. You must be 21 to participate. Special events for participants of all ages will be offered, as well.
This week, escape to Palettes and Pairings in the Parkplace Center.
