
A beginning birding walk which will also be wheelchair accessible and suitable for slow walkers. We’ll look for early spring birds at this 144-acre urban wildlife habitat area, which offers a diversity of bird species and wildlife seen in close proximity in wet meadows, marsh, and open water. The trail surface is paved or boardwalk. Participants must be independent or bring an attendant. Bring binoculars. The leader will provide a spotting scope. Meet before 9 a.m. at the Juanita Bay Park parking lot at 2201 Market Street (across the street from fire station).
