Experimental Animation

The Experimental Animation Course will introduce participants to six traditional animation techniques. This will be a fun and unique experience of animating under the camera, using a variety of materials such as paint, clay, collage, found objects, and even light. The course will also introduce students to frame-by-frame drawn animation. By the end of the quarter, participants will be versatile in a variety of traditional animation techniques and would have a well-developed ability to improvise and experiment in the field of animation. Supplies are provided.
