Where/When: Orange Blossom Society, 16715 NE 79th St., Redmond, on Saturday, March 12 at 10 a.m.
Why Go: Celebrate Mardi Gras with arts and crafts, fun and even free Spanish and French lessons from Sponge School! Aimed at kids 10 and younger and their families.

- SENSORY-FRIENDLY FILMS: MARS NEEDS MOMS
Where/When: AMC Woodinville 12 Cinemas, 17640 Garden Way NE, Woodinville, on Saturday, March 12 at 10 a.m.
Why Go: Sensory-friendly films are presented with the lights turned up a bit and the volume down, perfect for kids with autism and other sensory disabilities, or for families that want to see the movie without worrying about bothering other guests!
Cost: $4-6 per ticket.
- KIDS EAT FREE AT RIKKI RIKKI
Where/When: Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar, 442 Parkplace, Kirkland, every Tuesday.
Why Go: Kids get a free meal with each paying adult at this popular, award-winning restaurant!

- VOLUNTEER AS A SAMMAMISH RIVER STEWARD
Where/When: Various locations, second Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon.
Why Go: All ages are encouraged to help with the ongoing restoration of salmon habitat along the Sammamish River.

- PLAYDATE WITH KINDERMUSIK
Where/When: , 232 5th Ave. S, Kirkland, Tuesday, March 15 at 10:30 a.m. and Studio3Music, Suite I106, Redmond Town Center on Wednesday, March 16 at 10 a.m.
Why Go: “It’s Your Lucky Day” is a St. Patrick’s Day-themed hour of fun for kids age newborn to 6. Families get a music download card to listen to the music at home, along with an instrument for each child!
Cost: $15 (registration required).
