The fire broke out around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning and took about four hours to get under control.

KIRKLAND, WA - A massive fire at the Rose Hill Village shopping plaza Wednesday morning damaged 10 businesses and took firefighters several hours to get under control.
The fire broke out around 3 a.m. at the plaza, 12655 Northeast 85th Street. The fire appears to have started at the east end of the plaza near Rose Hill Cleaners.
Once on the scene, firefighters found flames coming from the sides and roof of the building. Firefighters tried to enter the building, but had to remain outside due to the intensity of the flames in the attic.
