Recognize Her? Unidentified Woman Dies Of Hypothermia In Kirkland
She was found near downtown Kirkland on Jan. 12. King County officials need help to identify her.

KIRKLAND, WA - King County officials are asking for help to identify a woman who was found dead near downtown Kirkland on Jan. 12. The woman died of hypothermia and was presumed to be homeless.
The woman has a variety of identifying marks. She has an old cesarean section scar, and was wearing a bracelet from a local hospital with a Jan. 10 admit date. King County investigators believe the woman was between 30 and 60, stood about 5'5", and weighed 149 pounds.
She was found along the 700 block of 1st Street. If you recognize this woman, contact the King County Medical Examiner’s Office at (206) 731-3232, extension 5.

At least five people in King County have died of hypothermia during recent brutal winter weather, according to the medical examiner. One of those people, Derek C. Johnson, 59, was presumed to be homeless. He was found at the Sodo light rail stop on Feb. 7, according to the Seattle Times.
Kicce Zebedee, 54, of Auburn; Peter Aden, 75, of Seattle; Carl Soderberg, 53, of Maple Valley; and Stanley Little, 84, of Fall City, all died between Feb. 7 and Feb 12. Those four men were likely not homeless, according to authorities.
