Kingsgate Library Displaying Woodinville Coloring Book Quilt

If you missed its first tour of the area, the Coloring Book Quilt inspired by Helen McMahon's coloring book from the Woodinville Heritage Society will be on display for the month of February at the Kingsgate Library. 

“This quilt wasn’t done by a club, but by individual quilters who came forward when the call went out,” said . She helped organize the quilt's creation. It first went on display in October of last year, and has since traveled around the area. Its permanent home is at the in Woodinville.

Helen Andersen McMahon, now in her 90s, moved to Woodinville as a small child. Her love of her community and drawing moved her to create a children’s coloring book, The Greater Woodinville Coloring Book, it can be purchased through the Woodinville Heritage Society.
