Kirkland Adds New Prescription Drug Drop Boxes
Kirkland is making it more convenient to dispose of prescription drugs safely.

KIRKLAND, WA - The city has added three new locations where residents can dispose of prescription drugs safely.
The boxes are part of a King County medicine return program that is funded by drug companies that sell prescription drugs in the area. Residents can drop medicines like painkillers or other dangerous or potentially habit-forming drugs in the boxes.

- (New) Totem Lake QFC
- (New) Evergren Professional Center Pharmacy
- Northeast 85th Street Walgreens
- Kirkland Justice Center
You can also mail prescription drugs for disposal. To get a mail-back envelope, email taylor.watson@kingcounty.gov.
