Kirkland Drive-By Shooting, Armed Robbery Ends At Motel 6

A crime spree in Kirkland ended with two arrests in the Totem Lake area.

KIRKLAND, WA - Two men were arrested Friday in Kirkland after they allegedly carried out a drive-by shooting and then an armed robbery at the Totem Lake Motel 6.

The drive-by shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. when the suspects opened fire on a home along the 9000 block of Northeast 132nd Place, according to KIRO 7. No one was hurt in that shooting.

While police were investigating that incident, they got a call about an armed robbery at the Motel 6. At the scene, two men told Kirkland police that two other men broke into their room, beat them with a gun, and robbed them, according to KIRO.

One of the suspects was caught in a Motel 6 room, the other was at a nearby gas station, according to KIRO.
