Kirkland Man Killed By Bus In Snohomish County

KIRKLAND, WA - The Snohomish County Medical Examiner has identified the victim of a March 16 bus collision in Snohomish County as a 41-year-old Kirkland man. Benjamin J. Eacker died of multiple blunt force injuries and his death was ruled an accident.

The collision took place along the 8000 block of Broadway, a busy stretch of road in a residential neighborhood south of the downtown Everett area.

Eacker was getting out of a car when he was knocked in front of an Everett Transit bus, according to reports.
