Kirkland Pawn Shop Raided In Stolen Property Investigation

"Bystanders were cheering for the Redmond and Kirkland Detectives who served the warrant when we arrived," police said of the raid.

KIRKLAND, WA - After a two year investigation, detectives from Kirkland and Redmond on Wednesday raided a Kirkland pawn shop suspected of trafficking in stolen property. Police allege that A-1 Cash Now Pawn Shop was used by criminals to fence items stolen from homes and cars.

Police served a warrant at the pawn shop and seized computers. The investigation is still ongoing.

Redmond police reported that people who saw the police operation began cheering.

“Bystanders were cheering for the Redmond and Kirkland Detectives who served the warrant when we arrived. One patron in the neighborhood said she was eager to be rid of the drug use, drug trafficking and thieving occurring in the parking lot," Redmond Lt. Erik Scairpon said.

A-1 Cash Now Pawn is located along 100th Avenue Northeast and Juanita-Woodinville Way Northeast in Kirkland's Juanita neighborhood.
