Kirkland Residents Can Put Out Extra Garbage, Recycling For Free
Waste Management will try to catch up on waste collection this week after multiple snowstorms.

KIRKLAND, WA - Garbage and recycling services are returning to normal this week in Kirkland, but yard and food waste collections will remain on hold, according to Waste Management.
The week of Feb. 18 - 22, Kirkland residents will be allowed to put out double or triple the normal garbage and recycling load at no extra charge. But as a trade-off, Think Green Kirkland won't be collecting yard waste this week.
But, you'll get to put out extra food and yard waste next week.

The regular weekly residential garbage and recycling collection service schedule will resume starting on Monday, February 18. Customers may place out double or triple loads of garbage and recycling, collected at no additional charge. Only regular residential garbage and recycling will be collected. Bulky items such as appliances or furniture will not be accepted.

To allow Waste Management to dedicate all of its resources toward the collection of large accumulations of residential garbage and recycling, yard waste collection service will be temporarily suspended during the week of February 18 - 22. Customers may place out additional yard waste on their regular service days during the week of February 25 - March 1, at no additional charge.
