Kirkland Safeway Shooter Arrested: Police
A man challenged two people to a fight at the Kingsgate Safeway. He ended up opening fire, according to police.

KIRKLAND, WA - A man who allegedly fired a gun in the air during a confrontation at the Kingsgate Safeway last week has been arrested.
The incident happened July 7 around 10 p.m., according to police. The suspect, who has not yet been charged, allegedly got into an argument with two other patrons of the grocery story. The three men met outside in the parking lot, and the suspect allegedly pulled up his shirt to reveal a handgun.
The suspect then fled the scene in a car driven by another man, and that's when he allegedly fired at least two shots into the air, according to police.

Police arrested the suspect late Tuesday night. He is being held without bail in the King County Jail on suspicion of drive-by shooting, unlawful possession of a firearm, and felony harassment.
