Kirkland's Friends Of Youth Luncheon Set For March

From Friends of Youth: On March 1st Friends of Youth celebrates the success stories of our youth and families with our 14th Annual Celebration of Youth Luncheon at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue. Friends of Youth partners with youth and families to provide the relationships, resources, and skills they need to attain personal growth and success. Friends of Youth has been providing, support, shelter, housing, and help for children, youth, families, and young adults for more than 68 years.

The annual Celebration of Youth will shine the spotlight on the successes of our three program areas, Homeless Youth Services, Child Welfare, and Youth and Family Services. The luncheon is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Friends of Youth.

“Each year we hear stories from youth and young people who are on a journey to self-sufficiency. We are grateful to walk on this journey with them, and we are grateful to the donors, volunteers, and staff who help make that work possible,” says Terry Pottmeyer, CEO and President of Friends of Youth. “The Celebration of Youth luncheon helps us provide so many services for the children, young adults, and families of our community.”

Registration opens at 11:30am. The program follows from 12:00pm – 1:00pm. The luncheon is complimentary but an invitation to join the team will be extended.
