Mail Thefts On The Rise, Kirkland Police Warn
It's the time of year when gifts sent via mail get intercepted by thieves.

KIRKLAND, WA - It's that time of year again. No, not time for turkey and Christmas decorations, but time for increasing mail theft.
Kirkland police are warning local residents to be on guard for thefts as Christmas approaches. The best way to prevent mail and package theft, according to police, is to get a locking mailbox.
For package thefts, surveillance systems like Ring may deter criminals - and can at least capture images of thieves in the act.
