Manhattan Film Festival at KPC; Kudos Kirkland Clean-up Effort

• This morning’s sunrise is at 7:05 a.m. and tonight’s sunset is at 6:53 p.m.

• Learn to square dance at . Samena Squares square dance club will be there from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to instruct. The first lesson is free.

• Kudos Kirkland is hosting an effort to clean up downtown Kirkland. Volunteers are asked to meet at Zoka on the corner of Lake Street and Central Way at 8 a.m. Cleaning will continue until 10 a.m.

• The Manhattan Short Film Festival school matinee is going on at at 9:30 a.m. Students in attendance will view short films, including comedies, dramas and documentaries, from this acclaimed film festival for just $9.
