New Chamber Director Calls for 'Cash Mob' at Simplicity Decor on Wednesday

Bruce Wynn says the ongoing effort will be a way to show appreciation for small business, and to meet and socialize.

 

Bruce Wynn, the new executive director of the , is calling for a “Cash Mob” Wednesday at , as part of an effort to support local small businesses.

His idea is for people to show up at a given time and given business with at least $10 to spend. The first such cash mob will be at noon Wednesday at the home decor shop, at 126 Park Lane downtown.

Wynn says the effort is a way to say that small business matters and to show appreciation for Kirkland businesses’ investments in the community. It will also be a great way to meet and socialize with folks in the community, he says.

Wynn was hired last month as chamber director, replacing with Concours d'Elegance in Tacoma.
