Kerr said that her husband, James, was walking Lulu through the park Friday when they encountered a woman walking a boxer-type dog and a malamute off-leash. The woman told James Kerr that the dogs were rambunctious, but not dangerous. When Kerr picked Lulu up to move her out of the way of the larger dogs, the malamute snatched Lulu and began mauling her.
