Person Barricaded In Kirkland Apartment Complex, Police Say
A standoff with a suspect who refused to leave a Kirkland apartment came to a peaceful conclusion Thursday afternoon.
KIRKLAND, WA — Kirkland Police were called to an apartment complex on 124th Street Thursday morning after a subject barricaded themselves inside a unit, shortly before noon. According to investigators, the person inside had an active warrant related to felony harassment. Officers were still negotiating with the suspect at 1:30 p.m. The City of Kirkland said the situation was resolved just before 3 p.m. Further details on the incident were not immediately released.
