Pet of the Week: Sweet Butterscotch

This 6.5-year-old 'creamsicle' colored cat is easy-going, gentle and gets along with all.

Butterscotch is a 6.5-year-old girl who was surrendered to Houghton's because her people were no longer able to care for her -- and she couldn't be sweeter.

She has a relaxed and easy-going personality, is gentle, mellow withย aย smidgen of independence for good measure. She is a cat after all! Butterscotch is what is called fondly a "creamsicle' color, a beautiful deep-orange with lots of downy white fur accents. She is a very pretty girl indeed.

She is used to other cats and is gentle with children. Topping her list of favorites are: Lounging in front of a sunny window, having the base of her tail petted (instant "elevator butt"!), and she simply can't resist a good chin scratch.
