Preschool Picasso

“It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.” - Pablo Picasso. Every week, students will experience the joy of creating and exploring art in this friendly, fun environment while developing fine motor and social skills. A variety of projects in drawing, painting, and sculpture are featured by combining a selection of children’s literature with related arts activities. Dress for mess! All materials provided. Returning students welcome. Parents are not required to stay.

The children will also have an opportunity to submit one of their artworks (made during the session) to the Kirkland Summerfest Arts and Music festival. The young artist exhibition is a one day art show that takes place Saturday, August 8th during the 4th annual downtown Kirkland Summerfest.
