Rose Hill Burglaries to be Focus of Public Meeting by Redmond Police

Information and crime prevention tips will be shared at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Rose Hill Junior High School.

 

A handful of recent burglaries in the Rose Hill area has prompted the to hold a community meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, in the auditorium.

At the meeting, officials will discuss the recent criminal activity, offer crime prevention tips, discuss Neighborhood Watch, and answer questions. All are welcome, but the discussion will be mostly geared toward the Rose Hill area of Redmond and Kirkland.

The Redmond Police Department's crime map shows six residential burglaries in the Rose Hill area during the past month. In comparison, the city had 10 burglaries overall during that same time period. Several burglaries have also been reported recently on the Kirkland side of Rose Hill. The City of Kirkland does not yet have a computerized crime map capability, but is planning to add it this month.
