Remember: SR 520 Is Closed All Weekend
The SR 520 floating bridge will close in both directions March 31 - April 3.

KIRKLAND, WA - Remember: the SR 520 floating bridge will be closed in both directions beginning Friday night at 11 p.m.
The closure will affect all lanes between 92nd Avenue Northeast and Montlake Boulevard in Seattle. Unless crews finish early, the closure will last until 5 a.m. Monday. The bike and pedestrian path will also be closed this weekend.
Here's what Washington state Department of Transportation crews will be doing during the closure:

- Remove old, temporary tolling gantries on the Eastside.
- Continue removing sections of the old westbound SR 520 off-ramp in Montlake and the never-completed R.H. Thomson โRamps to Nowhere.โ
- Close the Arboretum waterfront trail on Foster Island to continue landscaping work.
Crews might also:
- Repair sections of pavement on the existing SR 520 west of the west approach bridge.
- Inspect a sewer line that crosses SR 520 near Montlake Boulevard.
- Place concrete for the new traffic barriers.
- Stripe as needed.
