Report Kirkland's Worst Potholes From Your Phone

Kirkland launched a new app this week that allows you to report problems like potholes, graffiti, and broken street lights.

KIRKLAND, WA - Kirkland released its own app this week to help residents get local nuisances fixed.

The Our Kirkland app launched on March 11, and you can get it now for Apple and Android devices, and it's also available for tablets and desktop computers. Once you log on, you'll be able to tell city officials about that nasty pothole down the street or a broken street lamp.

“The City is excited to offer this new tool to our community members,” City Manager Kurt Triplett said in a press release. “The City Council funded Our Kirkland as part of their ongoing commitment to customer service and responsiveness. The Our Kirkland app is designed to make it easier for community members to report concerns and view responses from City Staff.”

Inside the app, you can track service requests and see how the city solved a particular problem. And if you see something while you're out and about (it doesn't have to be in your neighborhood), you can snap a photo and send it in.

One reminder: the app is for non-emergency issues. For everything else, dial 911.
