Students at Evergreen Academy Schools Plant Gardens for Earth Day

Students celebrated Earth Day by planting a variety of flowers and herbs in their schoolyards

Students at Evergreen Academy Elementary School and Evergreen Academy Preschool in Bothell recently planted gardens in their schoolyards in celebration of Earth Day. Preschoolers planted herbs and flowers, and elementary school students planted seeds as well as red, white and blue flowers to honor veterans. Some of the gardens will help support bee pollination and provide a butterfly habitat. Students will sell products from their gardens at the schoolโ€™s annual farmerโ€™s market this month. Evergreen Academy schools teach the importance of community and exploring nature at a young age.
