Summer Sundays On Park Lane Begin June 2
Park Lane will be closed to cars throughout the summer on Sundays for community events.
From The City of Kirkland: Join us at Summer Sundays on Park Lane starting Sunday, June 2! Opening Park Lane to people walking or biking only was inspired by residents hoping to create an atmosphere where community members could gather, shop, stroll, and dine in a casual car-free environment. During Summer Sundays, Park Lane will be closed to vehicles from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. We invite you to grab your family and friends and come down and enjoy the charming ambience of a Summer Sunday.
Summer Sundays is a pilot project between the City of Kirkland, community members, and neighborhood associations to provide accessibility, mobility and a strong sense of place for people while enhancing the volume of shopping and other business activities. The pilot will run from June 2 to September 22.
