Totem Lake Key Bank Robbed

The robber was able to escape. Police have released a description.

KIRKLAND, WA — A lone man robbed the Key Bank at the Village at Totem Lake shopping plaza on Wednesday afternoon, according to Kirkland police.

The robbery happened around 2:30 p.m. The man entered the bank and demanded money, but police did not say if he displayed a weapon. He may have fled the scene in a vehicle.

Police used a K9 dog and King County's Guardian One helicopter to search for the robber, but came up empty. The suspect was described as a tall, thin white man between 30 and 40, and wearing a gray fleece jacket, a gray or blue hat, sunglasses, and a bandanna over his face.
