From The City of Kirkland: Volunteer at Winterfest! It's one of our most loved events of the year...this year at Marina Park. December 1st from 3pm - 6pm. Join us for entertainment, sledding hill, llamas, activities, vendors, and the tree lighting! Santa's photos at Wilde Rover in front of the fireplace. Help Remove Invasive Plants on the Cross Kirkland Corridor
Monday, December 3 (Last time until March)
9 to 11 am
Location: CKC at NE 55th Street. Parking available along NE 55th St (please don't block driveways or mailboxes)

What should you bring?
-- Water to drink
-- Wear long pants, long sleeves, sturdy traction boots or shoes (ground may be uneven or slippery)
-- Leather gloves if you have them (extras available)
-- Tools provided
-- Under 18 need signed parent permission (waiver form)

Seeking 3 Greeter volunteers to greet attendees at this public event, hand out written information and head-count using โ€˜clicker counterโ€™. This event is an opportunity for Kirkland residents to learn more about and provide their feedback on two topics: Bike Share and Off-Leash Dogs. Green Kirkland Partnership Habitat Restoration Join the City of Kirkland/Green Kirkland Partnership to help remove invasive, non-native plants, mulch cleared areas and plant native plants within forests and other natural areas in Kirkland parks. All events are outdoors and happen rain or shine. All tools and training are provided, and no prior experience is necessary.

-- Each team in the City of Kirkland League is coached by volunteer coaches
-- Teams practice twice a week, beginning the week of December 3rd
-- No experience is necessary!
-- Must be age 18+

Meet at Hallmark Realty (101 Lake Street S. Kirkland 98033)

What goes up must come down! The Kirkland Downtown Association needs your help to take down the holiday lights from the buildings and poles in Kirkland. Please bring wire cutters or scissors, gloves, and a ladder if you have one. Good volunteer hours for students, and every volunteer gets free pizza!
