Who Supports I-1351

More than just the teachers' union support I-1351.

“But I-1351, backed primarily by the state teachers’ union, would do much more than lower class sizes from kindergarten through high school.”

While it is true the bulk of the money that supports I-1351 and the majority of the feet on the ground come from WEA, this statement implies that few other organizations support I-1351.

Dozens of principals and assistant principals, whose pay and professional association are in no way improved by the initiative, support it.

Superintendents of many school districts, who will have to administer their part of the action plan in the initiative, support it.

Yes, WEA supports this initiative and yes, WEA will gain members when this initiative is put unto effect. But thousands of other people and dozens of organizations with no stake other than better schools also support this initiative
