2 Children Home During Parents' Murder-Suicide In Lacey
The shooting happened Friday night at a home south of I-5. Two children, 12 and 24, were home at the time.
LACEY, WA - Two children witnessed the fight and subsequent murder-suicide of their parents on Friday night in Lacey. The children, ages 12 and 24, were home when the husband and wife got into a fight that ended in the husband reportedly killing his wife and then himself.
The incident happened around 10 p.m. Friday at a home a long Bella Court Southeast, according to KOMO News. The 24-year-old called police to report a fight, and fighting and then gunshots could be heard in background of the call, according to the report.
Inside the home, police found the wife, 45, dead of a gunshot wound. The husband, 45, was found with a possible self-inflicted gunshot wound in a closet at the home, according to KOMO.

Neither the 24-year-old nor the 12-year-old were injured during the incident.
