2 Suspects Shot After High-Speed Chase In Pierce County
The incident began after a Pierce County deputy noticed a stolen vehicle near Tacoma.

MIDLAND, WA - A chase involving a stolen vehicle and Pierce County deputies ended in the shooting of two suspects here on Tuesday.
The incident began early Tuesday morning when a deputy noticed a car driving recklessly near 72nd Street East and Golden Given Road in Tacoma. The car, a Ford pickup truck, fled when the deputies tried to pull it over, and a high-speed chase began. The chase reached speeds of up to 70 MPH, according to reports.
The deputies chased the vehicle to an area between Parkland and Midland, near the intersection of 96th Street East and Golden Given Road East, according to Q13. The car turned around to face the deputies and began driving toward them, according to reports, which is when the suspects were shot.

The driver, age 33, and the passenger, age 37, were shot and injured and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
