3 Cats Perish In Lakewood House Fire
The fire devastated a home in a neighborhood north of American Lake Wednesday night.

LAKEWOOD, WA - Three cats died and one cat was saved in a house fire Wednesday night in Lakewood. The fire happened in a home along the 8800 block of Forest Avenue Southwest, which is just east of Carp Lake and north of American Lake.
All humans in the home - four adults and three children - made it out without injury. Firefighters saved the fourth cat by giving it oxygen after rescuing it from the fire.
