Administrative Changes Announced In CPSD's Central Office

The departure of Keith Rittel from the Clover Park School District has created a shift of employees within the central office.

Doug Kernutt, the current administrator of human resources, has been named the district's new deputy superintendent. He replaces , who is now the superintendent of the Provo School District in Utah.

, who came to CPSD as director of employment services during the 2011-12 school year after a reduction in force in the South Kitsap School District, will become the executive director of human resources. She will also sit on the Superintendent's Council.

Brian Laubach, current director of teaching and learning and the former principal at Lakes High School, will be the executive director of teaching and learning. He will also be part of the Superintendent's Council.

The administrative changes will take effect July 1. No additional staffing costs will be incurred with these changes.
