Air Force To Fly Over Puget Sound Hospitals Friday: How To Watch

The jets will take off from JBLM Friday to fly over dozens of Puget Sound hospitals in a salute to local health care workers.

JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCORD, WA — The 62nd Airlift Wing is honoring first responders and health care workers who have been hard at work battling the coronavirus with a flight across the Puget Sound.

The flight will take off Friday around noon and pass above 30 Washington hospitals. The show will be composed of two of the Air Force's massive C-17 Globemaster III jets station at McChord Field.

The Air Force is also hosting a photo contest for the event. Whoever submits the best photo of the flyover event will win a patch and a signed photo from the team who performed the flight.
