'All Hell Broke Loose': 5 Men Stabbed In Knife Fight At Bar
Pierce County deputies arrived to find seriously wounded men inside and outside the bar.

SPANAWAY, WA - Pierce County deputies came across a gruesome scene Thursday night after a knife fight at TJ's Pub along Pacific Avenue. Five men were stabbed in the fight, and victims were found inside and outside the bar. One man was bleeding so badly, deputies had to apply a tourniquet to his arm.
Police were called to the bar around 10 p.m. Thursday. Outside, police found one man unconscious with a laceration to the back of his head. Other people at the scene yelled for help with stab wounds. Inside the bar, police found a man who "appeared very pale" with a gash across his wrist.
Witnesses at the scene told police the attacker had fled the scene. A Pierce County sergeant found the man behind the bar, his hands cut up and bloody, and a knife on the ground next to him.

"Multiple witnesses told the deputies that the incident started when a heavily intoxicated man started causing problems with numerous patrons in the tavern; when the man was convinced to leave, he became involved in an argument with another patron while on his way out the door.
The argument reportedly turned into a physical fight in the parking lot where punches were exchanged between the two men; witnesses said that multiple other people attempted to separate the two men, as several other people attempted to join in the fight - as one witness said 'that's when all hell broke loose'. At one point the intoxicated man displayed a knife and began swinging it around at the other people involved in the fight, wounding several victims," the Pierce County Sheriff's office wre in a Facebook post.

Besides stabbing multiple people, the attacker took a crutch from the bartender and began hitting people with it. The attacker knocked one victim to the ground with the crutch and then plunged a knife into the victim's head, according to police.
The attacker, a 45-year-old man, was arrested on five counts of second-degree assault. He was taken to the Pierce County Jail.
