• A canceled 911 call, an abandoned car in Lakewood: Police seek missing woman (thenewstribune.com) — Pierce County deputies are searching for a 34‑year‑old woman whose car was found abandoned near I‑5 and Gravelly Lake Drive in Lakewood after she made, then canceled, a 911 call about a collision. With her phone left in the vehicle and no contact since, Lakewood-area residents are asked to call 911 immediately with any sightings or information.

Police seek public's help (thenewstribune.com) — A convicted Tacoma-area drive‑by shooter is wanted after violating probation and allegedly stealing a vehicle in Lakewood, and authorities warn he may still be in the area. Lakewood residents are urged to call 911 immediately if they see him, or submit anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers, which is offering a reward for information leading to his arrest.
