Best Works Showcase to Celebrate Local Students' CTE Work

May 16 event will feature examples of digital communications from students at 27 high schools.

The public is invited to attend the inaugural Best Works Showcase, a celebration of student achievement in Career Technology Education (CTE) programs. It will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on May 16 at Bates Technical College.

The showcase will feature examples of outstanding digital communications from 27 high schools in Pierce County in the areas of film, photography and graphic design.

Among the schools represented will be Clover Park, Curtis, Graham Kaposwin, Gig Harbor, Lakes, Orting, Peninsula, Steilacoom, Sumner and White River.

Light hors d'oevres will be served. The event is hosted by Pierce County Media Educators.

The showcase will be held in Building E at Bates, 2201 South 78th St. in Tacoma.
